THRACE. Dikaia. Circa 480-450 BC. Triobol (Silver, 13 mm, 2.11 g, 9 h). Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. Rooster standing right in dotted square within shallow incuse square. Boston MFA 801. Schönert-Geiss, Bisanthe, 45. SNG Copenhagen 553. A nicely toned piece of beautiful Archaic style. Slightly granular as usual, otherwise, good very fine.
